What is MAMTA day.?

I was asked this one in theory...


‘MAMTA DAY’ -Malnutrition Assessment and Monitoring to Act

To --reduce the malnutrition among children
and convergence with other department state government has replaced
--‘Immunization day’ as “Health and Nutrition Day”
with growth monitoring.
--Immunization, ANC and mother education.

It is celebrated every Wednusday at Anganwadi and At monday oncea month at PHC..
