    in the philippines, religion plays a big part. Catholic church frowns on anything other than natural family planning.

    agree w/ asrafee re: literacy and customs. Some families just don't think about the consequences of having too many mouths too feed and nothing to feed them with

    2. Religious Factor
    3. Literacy and Education
    4. Age an marriage
    5. Socio Economic Development
    6. Social Pressure
    7. Parity
    8. Current IMR-U5MR
    9. Number of living children
    10. Sex of child
    11. Status of female in family
    12. IEC
    13. Availability of Services
    14. Improvident Fertility or Unwanted Pregnancy
