Megaloblastic :
A large, nucleated, embryonic type of cell that is a precursor of erythrocytes in an abnormal erythropoietic process observed in pernicious anemia
Megaloblastoid :
Dyserythropoiesis with nuclear abnormalities [Dysplastic maturational changes]
Differentiate causes of megaloblastic anemia from dysplastic maturational changes (megaloblastoid) of the myelodysplastic syndromes.
