general question which arise : what is the best test to be done in pregnancy to rule out thryroid disorder ? here ! some words

In pregnancy placenta secretes the beta hcg which acts like TSH coz both have same alpha units and causes the release of thyroid hormones from the gland the story is not as simple . At the same time estrogen causes the elevation of the thyroid binding globulin in the blood which will bind the new rush of hormone in the blood so causes the relative euthryoid status .

so high free T3 and free T4 levels and low TSH is normal finding and these test can tell u the true story .!!!!
