(1)gastric lavage contraindicated in all acid poisong except what?
(2) vt is tandom bullet?
(3)cattle poison?

1. Gastric Lavage is Contraindicated in corrosive poisoning except for carbolic acid for fear of rupture of the stomach.
2.Tandem bullets occur when bullet fails to eject the barrel. On second firing, bullets are ejected one after the other. They enter the target at different points.
3.Cattle poisons are used to kill cattles for their hides. Poisons are abrus precatorius, parathion and nux vomica seeds.

negative autopsy- when gross,histological,biochemical examination nd lab investigations fail to find out a cause for death then the autopsy is known as negative autopsy...

1.Organophosphorus compound poisoning causes constriction of pupils
2.BAL contraindicated in MeHg poisoning coz it is found to increase MeHg concentration in the brain
3.putrefactive changes in the brain??DONNO..i think change of colour and liquefaction occur...please post this answer.
btw,gastric lavage is also done in oxalic acid poisoning [acc to narayana reddy]

Stages of decomposition in adult brain

> 24 - 48 hrs it becomes soft n purply
> on 3rd day .............. pasty
> 3 - 4 days it is liquified
