Difference between Hernia of hyrdocele sac & hydrocele of hernial sac.

Hernia of hydrocele sac:
A small tear in the hydrocele sac causes accumulation of fluid in the subcutaneous plane.

Hydrocele of hernial sac:
The neck of the hernial sac gets plugged with omentum or by adhesions.Fluid then accumulates in the sac by secretion from the peritoneum , thus creating a hydrocele.

Hernia Of Hydrocele Sac:
In very tense hydrocele, if the hydrocele sac protrudes out of subcutaneous tissue and skin overlying it, this condition is called, hernia of hydrocele sac.

Hydrocele of hernial sac:
In strangulated hernia, accumulation of fluid due to bursting of the strangulated part of intestine and release of contents in to the sac .
