Thread: interview help?

do anyone have idea about a book isersons getting into residency ?if anyone have please try to to share.

I read parts of that book aa few weeks ago. it`s not such an amazing book as it`s belived to be.But it can help u a lot if you are confused choosing a speciality.What I can tell you about his content:
First it tries to make a brief description of all the medical specialties(that`s why I think it`s better suited for students, at their beginning).
After that, it tells about grades,tests, clinical clerkships, the paperwork needed for application, resume(I`m just writing from the contents now).
I`m not satisfied with the chapter about international medical graduates( It`s small, without a proper information).I think this book it`s made most for the us residents.
Than, it talks about the interview( preparation, visit, possible questions ..) and the match.
Also a chapter about NRMP Match..
My conclusion: If you`re a student, especially from us, or if you don`t know much about usmle,or the medical residency in us, you need this book.If You are a img,o ryou know the medical steps..you can pass.

do read the section which contains details of "ideal applicant" , "what to ask to PD", "what to ask to residents"....
