Everyone I spoke to said to spend your summer studying, give or take 3-4 months. Too much longer you'll start to forget stuff. I'm gonna be taking it next year

Assuming you study for 3-4 months or 6 months for USMLE step 1, at the same time should you be studying for the step 2? Or rather wait after you finish step 1 and study for step 2? Then usually how many months after taking step 1 do you take USMLE step 2?

I think you should keep 3-5 months and 5 months & above in last 2 option.

Full time? No idea. In my case, since I do it part-time (well, might not take it, but I just like studying the sort of things one needs for it) it'll be over a year at least.

people usually take Step 1 after their pre-clinical (basic sciences) years. You take step 2 after your clinical years. Like in the American system, medical school is 4 years. After the second year, u take step 1 and after the 4th year u take step 2. I mean it would vary depending on your situation.

I'll have done 4 years of medical school and a degree in bio (will try to angle it towards medstuff) before I'd do step one, so should at least know a little.
