Here is an article , a sequel to an earlier article,written by Sharvil. i think its a must-read for any one who aspires to go for step2 CK of USMLE .i m contributing this article with thanks to Shravil for the interest and benefit of usmlers so that others might benefit as well.

Its not that simple.

It depends on your own MCQ aptitude and previous knowledge.
If you are good in MCQs, probably you need less effort, depending on how much you studied while still in med school -- still have to go through a LOT of MCQS.
If you have been not so good in MCQS, you need more practice.

Inspite of all efforts, therei is one more factor over which no one has control, LUCK.
