    Default class or no class

just wondering how many people go to their classes in med school or find that studying mostly on their own is more effective.

yes, no clinical postings should be avoided.! This is the time we are exposed to patient in real and its the best time to learn the skills...

However, this doesnt matter much about theory classes. Only important lectures would go with high strength of students.

Afterall , enjoy your stay in Medical college.!

I don't go to lectures, not worth it, just photocopy someone's notes. Classes that I have to go to b.c they take attendance. Clinics b.c they are interesting and like them.
    I procrastinate....

Lolz !! We never miss class out here, neither theory nor clinicals !!

Anyway, we need minimum of 80% attendance to be able to sit for the exams...So, there's no reason to bunk classes !!! Asrafee will agree with me on this point...

And also, sometimes there are surprise tests, so better don't miss this....because we require at least 40% internal assessment to be able to sit for the exams........Anyway, Asrafee our school is a school of exception because of you-know-who !!!

Our school is probably the complete opposite as yours Amal. Not only are theory lectures not required, but we are given copies of the typed notes that the professors will be lecturing. Most of them also post the powerpoints. On top of that there are many students who record the lectures.
