I personally believe .... the most important bit is --> what is inbetween the stethoscope.
However...littmann are generally reliable and does the job

I have a copy of Litman, and it works as good as Litman. Costs only 30 dollars on ebay.

is it the GRx Medical CD-27 Expert Cardiology stethoscope?

I bought the GRx from ebay for 30 bucks because I lost my $170 littman cardio III. I think it works the same. Pretty much same acoustics, but the GRx is heavier than the littman cardio III. I thought it was a great deal.
