Default A patient taking Rosiglitazone for T2DM

This patient develops anemia which is normocytic and normochromic 3 months after the initiation of Rosiglitazone. He also complains of progressive dependent oedema for the recent weeks.

    What's going in this patient?

    Default

Rosiglitazone > Plasma volume retention > Dilutional Anemia > Normocytic Normochromic

However the patient should not use the drug if he is known case of cardiac disease.
