    Practice Test for Medical Students


    You choose which drug you study, but it would make sense to choose a drug relevant to the practice of the firm to which you are attached (some suggested one are in bold typeface) and one that you have seen being prescribed. Some suggestions are given below.


    CHOOSING A DRUG

    Angiotensin II receptor blockers
    Automatic implantable cardiovertor defibrillators
    β-blockers for heart failure
    Clopidogrel
    LMW heparin for unstable angina

    Spironolactone for heart failure

    2.

    Aminophylline for acute asthma
    Doxapram
    Fluticasone
    Leucotriene antagonists
    Nucleoside analogues
    Protease inhibitors
    Steroids in COPD
    Salmeterol
    Zanamavir for influenza

    3.

    DIABETES AND ENDOCRINE
    Acarbose
    ACE inhibitors and diabetic nephropathy
    Drugs for thyroid disorders
    Glitazones
    Insulin formulations
    Octreotide
    Orlistat

    4.

    DERMATOLOGY
    Topical antibiotics
    Anti-fungals
    Immuno-suppresives
    Topical steroids
    Vitamin D derivatives

    Good advice you have there.. People should be aware of the drugs that they are about to take. Research on the drug and possible drug interactions and side effects. My doctor has recently prescribed me Ambien from Medsheaven.com and I checked the information of the drug. It has greatly improved my sleeping disorder.
