Hi everyone, I'm a Yr1 medical student, and it's my first real post here! I hope I'm in the right board for this question! A while back, we looked at action potentials. The thing I don't get is - how does the cell restore the resting potential after hyperpolarisation. I keep hearing that it's the Na+/K+ ATPase, but with it's action, doesn't it contribute to a further hyperpolarisation?
Thanks for the help in advance!
