PREVIOUS ONE CS...CS again??

CS has some absolute and relative indications.
In the past, it was often assumed that following 1 cs, followng deliveries should be by cesarean only.
Nowadays this trend has changed!!

It depends on evaluation of the indication for the past CS, whether it is a reccuring indication!!

CS has some complications..

What are the reccurent indications for CS?
Given a case in exam, how to approach it?

Got some info from my lecturer!

One of the main indications for CS is fetal distress.

If the cause of it in the previous preg is a recurrent one, go for cs.

If non recurrent, AND no contraindication for vaginal delivery, can go for trial of labour, under CTG and clinical assessment while keeping blood in case of an emergency cs.
