Wonderful list..thanx a lot..Dont u think there are too many Morgagni's and Rosenmuller's in the body
Here are a few dat came to mind while going thru ur list-
  • Montgomery's tubercles in the mammary gland-the areolar sebaceous glands enlarge during pregnancy and lactation to form these.
  • Struther's ligament-The third and lowermost head of coracobrachialis,wen it sometimes persists in man.
  • Bowman's capsule-The structure that houses the glomerulus in the nephron.
  • Broca's area-an area in the premotor cortex that deals with word formation
  • Wernicke's area-area in the temporal lobe responsible for auditory and visual language comprehension
  • Charcot's artery-one of the lenticulostriate branches of the middle cerebral artery that is v.much susceptible to haemorrhage
  • Alderman's nerve /Arnold's nerve-Auricular branch of the vagus
  • Stensen's duct 4 parotid gland
  • Bartholin’s duct- (major) duct 4 sublingual(in addition to the smaller ducts of Rivinus)
  • Hepatorenal pouch of Morrison-a peritoneal space formed by deflection of the peritoneum
  • Virchow's node-supraclavicular lymph node
  • Haversian canal-neurovascular bundle of a bone is contained here
  • Douglas’ pouch-is actually the rectouterine peritoneal pouch

  • Thorel’s plexus-The posterior internodal tract.
  • Kiesselbach’s plexus-arterial anastomosis on Little’s area.
  • Little’s area-antero inferior cartilaginous part of the nasal septum
  • Meissner’s plexus-submucosal parasympathetic plexus in the small intestine
  • Circle of Willis-Arterial anastomosis b/w the vertebral and carotid systems at the base of the brain(interpeduncular fossa)
  • Guyon’s canal-Ulnar canal:a potential space @ the wrist b/w the pisiform and the hamate bone.Ulnar artery and ulnar nerve pass thru this.
