Thread: HELP ANYONE !! depression

Hello medical Geeks, I am a 4th-year medical student and am going to start my internship in a months time. The thing is i dont even know if i want it anymore. I have spent the last 4 years wasting my time and not really being a medical student. have passed all exams by fluke as the system where i am studying is 'bendy' . I am want to know if i should drop out as my medical knowledge is basically not enough . Will one year of clinical rounds/ internship and hard labour be able to pull me back up? if i spend 10 hours a day into these rounds and revision will that be able to bring me back up? I need to sit for PLAB examination after August 2017. I need serious help , a friend, a guide who can point me to the right direction because i am honestly pulling my hair out and am lost and depressed....

Relax and be positive.
Don't worry, medicine is never ending branch. You will have to keep learning regularly. But your basics must be good.
It is never too late, you havent completed internship yet, so it is good, it is the time when you will learn so many things in your career. So start reading & learning now.
