Which medicine book is better, Davidson or Harrison ??? Which one prepares us best for pg ???

harrison is way ahead for pg but for ug davidson is good enuff but nowadays even ug students go for harrison.

if u couple up ur physiology(guyton) + pharmacology(tripathi)
and do DAVIDSON, i think this is more than enough.......

u can try Davidson + CMDT 2007 if u like.....

this is more than enough and a doable thing unlike harrison*....

there's just too many info in harrison. CMDT would be your best bet. it summarizes harrison into the most important info that med student should know. Go for CMDT, there's absolutely no point in buiyng harrison if you're not able to read/understand/digest it right?

Harrison is the Robbins of Internal Medicine

Davidson could not be compared with Harrison. They really serve different purposes. The former provides a brief topical description whereas the latter supply "comprehensive" stuff. The key issue is whether u could memorize everything!
