Thread: Photos of unusual bowels - need help please

I am not sure where to turn to about this problem. If this is not the right section, please point me in the right direction.
For some time I've been having unusual bowel movements. I've noticed that my bowels have small white pieces (of what...I do not know). Also, most times after I have a bowel movement my poop breaks up and these white pieces start floating to the surface. They have gotten to the size of a piece of corn. I think I may have something growing inside of my intestines but I just don't know what is going on. I also seem to have an extraordinary amount of gas.

I have also noticed a lump on my left breast about 1.5 inches to right of my nipple. The lump is approximately the diameter of a quarter. I am not in discomfort unless I press on it.

Some background about me:
- I'm 44 years old
- Although I smoked for over 20 years (quit in 2009) - I've been active my whole life.
- I've dealt with MRSA from 2009 - 2012 but I have not had any outbreaks for a while
- I walk every day and exercise on a regular basis and get good sleep
- My diet is good (not much sweets or junk food) but I do like to eat a lot

Is this something I should bring up with a family practice physician? Will they even have a clue of where to begin to diagnose the problems above?
