Nephelometry is: a. Lambert-Beer law b. Scattering of light by particulate solution c. Defraction of light d. Decreased intensity of light ans.b. Nephelometry This technique is widely used in clinical laboratories because it is relatively easily automated. It is based on the principle that a dilute suspension of small particles will scatter light (usually a laser) passed through it rather than simply absorbing it. The amount of scatter is determined by collecting the light at an angle (usually about 70 or 75 degrees). Antibody and the antigen are mixed in concentrations such that only small aggregates are formed that do not quickly settle to the bottom. The amount of light scatter is measured and compared to the amount of scatter from known mixtures. The amount of the unknown is determined from a standard curve. Forensic

| Good set of q's...I was going through them and noticed the answer about parietal pericardium adn phrenic nerves. I was wondering how come the pain radiates mainly to the Left side (jaw and arm) ..i.e. C3-5 dermatomes (i understand they share same dermatomal values) but why Left side and not Right. Is that just dependent of the which side of the parietal pericardium is involved? so if there was a right sided infarct..it could radiate down the right arm etc
