I've just checked medicine seats @ mci website..seats increased in medicine in some coleges..not checked all colleges..

post number of increased seats in medicine,pedia and skin in your college according to details on mci website..half of these seats will be alloted in AIPGME quota and half in state quota..

Most probably. And even if no much difference in number of seats, theyere will be much differents in available options , bcz state counseling would have been over before second counseling.

IMPORTANT-NOTICE REGARDING VACANCIES

1. Darbhanga Medical College, Lahariasarai, Darbhanga (Bihar) (BR01):- 1 excess seat of MD(Gen. Med.) allotted in “1st Round of PG Counseling 2011” under ‘All India Quota’ due to Court case will be withdrawn.

2. NIHFW, New Delhi (DL04):- 4 excess seats of MD(CHA) allotted in “1st Round of PG Counseling 2011” under ‘All India Quota’ on the basis of information received from the institution will be withdrawn on request of the concerned institution.

3. Medical College, Baroda (Gujarat) (GJ03) :- 1 excess seat of DCH allotted in “1st Round of PG Counseling 2011” under ‘All India Quota’ on the basis of information received from the institution will be withdrawn on request of the concerned institution.

4. S.N. Medical College, Jodhpur, (Rajasthan) (RJ01):- 2 excess seats of MD(SKVD) & 1 excess seat of MS(Ortho) allotted in “1st Round of PG Counseling 2011” under ‘All India Quota’ on the basis of information received from the institution will be withdrawn on request of the concerned institution.

5. J.L.N. Medical College, Ajmer, (Rajasthan) (RJ02):- 1 excess seat of MD(FMED) & 1 excess seat of MD(Biochemistry) allotted in “1st Round of PG Counseling 2011” under ‘All India Quota’ on the basis of information received from the institution will be withdrawn on request of the concerned institution.
