    Unhappy rapidshare

Its very upsetting to see most files posted on rapidshare. The time restrictions are killing, and a premium account costs an arm and a leg. That's why wherever possible I try to post a non rapidshare mirror of a file I download.

I can empathize with you. I had to finally break down at purchase a premium for both RS and Megaupload.

If you are using a DSL, just reset it, so as not to wait before next download!

I like rapidshare, I live in the dorms and thats the only way I can download here. The IT people blocked the ports for Kazaa, any p2p programs, torrents etc. Rapidshare goes through port 80 so I can take advantage of the schools fast internet

Yes, but don't zupload, zshare and others also come through port 80. I do not like the time restrictions AFTER the download, I don't mind the other restrictions

i think rapget works with all the filesharing sites. it has resume option too. no waiting period. (i have tried megaupload..and it works like a charm).

But its worth to buy RS.com premium account. RS.com is the most stable service around. No wonder almost 90% data is uploaded on RS.

You spent Rs. 5000/- just for a RS premium account, that too for a year only! I don't have that kind of money to burn. Even if my router got spoilt with all the restarting I'd get a new one for Rs. 1500/- to Rs. 1800/-

Don't hate, haha. Vitrag doesn't like that I upload to rapidshare too. There is much more uploaded to RS.com than any other website that I know of.
