| Hello everybody, I have been watching guys on TV and some my friend have it too…know what…the six pack abs!!! It feels awesome to bear that look and it really gives me the chills to be like them. But, I am not sure whether I can make them or no. I have not consulted my friends about this (cause they always pride themselves about this...and I’m shy to ask). I do have a little weight on but I can manage to cut that down. So, do you people have any options that I can try to make things happen??? Any help will be highly appreciated!!! |

| Same here, mate. I too felt the same thing when watching the guys showing their stomach (I used this term when I used to get angry for not having these) but now I would use the word “six pack abs” to define that as I too have them now. It’s not a tough call to get them but you need to do it the right way. There are many techniques or advices that may sound good…but the big thing is do they really work??? In most cases “NO”…what I used was a great program of www.medicalgeek.com that finally worked. Last edited by a4assasins; 08-06-2008 at 11:12 PM. Reason: removing ad |

| To get six pack abs you need: 1. to burn up fat-your body fat should be lower than 10% or better than 8% and 2. to build muscle. 1. to burn up fat you need to: *change your diet: cut at least by half your carbohydrates and saturated fat intake and double at your protein intake: take less bread, suger, chocolate, cookies... and take a lot more fish, chicken and start taking whey protein. You should take at least 2g or better 3g of proteins per your 1kg of body mass (90*3=270 grams of protein daily). Start taking suplements: aminoacids, minerals...-aspartam free! This food will build your muscles and reduce your fat! *do aerobic (cardio) workouts 4 times a week: do at morning low intensity cardio ar at evening HIIT for 1h (LIC) and 30min (HIIT). 2. building muscles Burning fat is a lot more important, becaouse you could do crunches your whole life and not get 6 pack abs if your body fat is higher than 10%! Your six pack abs would be visible for sure if your body fat is <8% even without anaerobic workout (building muscle) with proper protein intake! But if you would like to get even bigger abs... Start doing leg lifts and crunches. BUT, do them only 3X a week 4 series with 12 repetitions (VERY SLOW ONES!!). Don't do more because you could only burn up your muscles. Not every person could get 6 pack abs-you could get 4 pack abs instead... The "shape" of your muscles is determined by genetics only! Note that! |

| Its tough LOL...But abs start in the kitchen. No matter how many crunches you do, it all relies on the food you eat. Very little carbs after 4pm.
