You all have shown a wide variety of ways to overcome stress here. My personal favorite is rubbing your ears. I'm going to have to try that one! The point to remember is that whatever is causing your stress, whether it's outside circumstances, lifestyle or an emotional state you cannot seem to control, getting a handle on your stress will give you better health. Stress is a leading cause of many physical diseases, let alone the emotional toll it may take on you and those around you.
I, for one, appreciate any advice or tips that can help refocus on peace and lower stress in life.

One more way i want to suggest here - Don't worry about anything, instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs and don't forget to thank him for his answers. If you do this you will experience God's peace, which is more wonderful than the human mind can understand. Seriously this really helps. I tried this many times.
Very interesting thread. After all the time and effort you spend relaxing and learning new stress management skills is always well-spent because of the emotional and physical health benefits it brings.
