Default How to Post Stuffs Here [For Newbies]

Welcome to MedicalGeek.com,

Here is how to post on our forum:

Look at the photo and follow the steps:

#1- Put the title of your ebook/software etc... in the title menu
#2- Put the title of your ebook/software etc... again in the body of your post. Make it a larger font by selecting the text and undersizes choose the size you want.

#3- Put an image of your ebook/software etc... I use Amazon.com. Search google for your ebook/software etc... Make sure when you right click on your image choose "Copy Image Location", once you have the image location, press the "mountain with the yellow background" button, a dialog box will pop up. This is where you paste your image locations url. Press "OK".

#4- Post info about your ebook/software etc... When I post I go to Amazon.com, and copy the information straight from there. This information is useful for people who want to know which edition, ISBN...etc of your ebook/software etc...

#5- Post a description of your ebook/software etc..., I go to Amazon.com and copy the information straight from there.

#6- When posting your ebook/software etc..., tell others which format your item is in. Is it a pdf, djvu, rar, iso, etc....

#7- This is where you post your links. When you post you must code your links and hide them.

For example:
Coding: Means putting "(CODE)(/CODE)" on either side of your link(s). Replace "(" with "[" and ")" with "]"
Hiding: Means putting "(HIDE)(/HIDE)" on either side of your link(s).Replace "(" with "[" and ")" with "]"

This is my link to my ebook that I want to post:

Code:
http://rapidshare.com/files/33822680/The_Pregnancy_Book.rar
In order to post that link I must Hide the link and Code the link like this:

(HIDE)(CODE)http:**rapidshare.com/files/33822680/The_Pregnancy_Book.rar (/CODE)(/HIDE)
Replace "(" with "[" and ")" with "]"

Thats it, PM any moderator if you will need any help. Also always search the forum for your book in order to not make a duplicate post.

Regard,

Powel6016

Default newbie to uploads

Haven't uploaded anything yet. I have a cd which i tried to post, but when i press the upload button, i get all these folders coming up. Does that mean I have to upload each folder/file individually? There has to be an easier way of posting...Or maybe the cd can't be uploaded as is...? Thanks.

Y dnt you use uploading sites?

You can use winrar to break the files into 100mb size, so that you can easily upload.

You can use rapidshare for uploaing or any of the uploading sites .. There's a thread in this forum about New uploading sites, you may try them!

Install Winrar/winzip.
Right click on rootfolder you want to upload.
Click on Add to archieve [If more then 100mb size] Otherewise click on Add to *****[foldername] [If more then 100mbs]
If less then 100mbs then your compressed file is ready to upload.
If more then 100mbs then check for split to volumes options and select zip100option in that.
Then folder will be splited in number of compressed .rar files according to size.
Then it's also ready to upload.
Then go to any uploading site like rapidshare.com, megashare.com, 4shared.com, ftp2share.com, massmirror.com
to upload on ftp you can use FlashFXP
