    Lightbulb Hmmm..

Dental injury as an essay ques??
May be u should write off everything given under forensic odontology--but the trick is to fill pages without letting it look off-track..

And hey wat dya think of this-jus like head injury is injury caused to the head, dental injury is injury caused TO the teeth And bite marks are injuries caused BY teeth..So they should be talked about last..

May be we should start with an intro to forensic odontology, followed by types of dental injuries-ahhh!!here comes..are there types??My classification of dental injuries--1.pathological(as in hutchison's teeth..but that's not really "injury"..) and 2.Traumatic(teeth being knocked off)..

Now that there are injuries there has to be examination..so next wud be a lengthy discussion on dental examination with a short note also on dental identification..

Before concluding, write everything u noe about bite marks-types, characteristics, examination, etc.Conclude with medico-legal importance of teeth on thw whole..

P.S.When not sure bout an answer, use lots of colours to distract the examiner but here's wishing u aren't asked anything u wont be sure of

    :-) lol.. thnxs!!

I thought of first introducing forensic odontology.
Then divide it into injury caused by teeth e.g. bite mark, and injury to teeth like in mass disaster (saw zat somewer on net), in fights, and due to negligence by dentist.

Shud also Include the injury report.

And medicolegal aspect, like how this will influence identification etc..
