Default private practice or work in institute or govt job?

Hi friends

Put your views on whether u like to do private practice [ of corese with lot of tension in mind!!] or work in institute ?

If u r interested in academic carrier and life with little tension but with charm of medical profession, or interested in reasearch then working bin institute is best but u can not have much vitamin M!!

Im actually getting the impression that a lot of medical students in other countries are planning to get further training in the US, rather than staying in their home country. Am I wrong? If so, any particular reason for wanting to leave, rather than stay? I'm from the Philippines, and here, there is a trend for people to go abroad too for better opportunities.

True...In recent years, at least where I'm from, there's been a lot of doctors going abroad to work as nurses because it's easier to get a visa that way. Has that been the experience in other countries too?

I,m not interested in Vitamin-M. I need to be updated and my knowledge should reach everyone, which is possible only in an institute.

Honestly not sure, probably a mixture teaching, hospital work and private practice.

all three choices probably have an advantages and disadvantages: I'd probably choose working in the institute which usually is connected to a teaching hospital so that I can both further my knowledge and have my own private practice

private practice is always better than working under somebody. be your own boss. you can learn better and serve better this way.
