Who is better- surgeon or physician... its not a easy question. People will say many things. I still remember a famous quote, "until the lions’ have their own historian the history of the hunt will always glorify the hunter." The statements like "internists know every thing does nothing, surgeons know nothing does everything"…. are simply funny. One should not be biased with any statement issued with one’s personal interest/likings. Do you think, one can undertake any surgical procedure by knowing nothing? One must not forget the difference between curability and treatability. There is difference between treatable and curable. In my opinion every discipline has got its own charm. What is needed is not the conflict between thee two major disciplines… what is needed is simply liaison

Surgeons Sucks Theyre Stupid They Just Cut Bodies And That Stuff Later They Dont Know Anything Else.....internist Know A Lot And They Can Resolve Problems Easily And They Do Procedures Too. Lot Of If You Read Youll See

Both have their own abilities....surgeons (atleaast a good one) are good with their hands and generally goodish with their brains tooo...there are some absolutely amazin surgeons who are really clever..for e.g. Burkitt.
physicians have to accumulate and apply a lot of knowledge...but may not be as good with hands on stuff

surg is a work of skill more than thinking &
med is a work of thinking more than skill,

surg fetches more money per patient
med fetches lesser money per patient

But
i think surgeons take more time to establish than med..

it definately is ones own choice

i personally prefer surg
