To whom would u prefer as ur LifePartner, medico/ non medico?
And if one is a doctor, the other should be With Lower Degree Then Ur?

I think, someone in the same field of yours is good... Same level of education have been prooved to make a relationship successful..

Buyt if you are a doctor, and want to marry a doctor, i think it may lead to some clash!

eg, if you work at night and she in the morning!!

Well, I wouldn't marry a doctor.
There are several reasons.
First of all, a doctor's life is very hectic.If both partners are doctors, there'll be hardly any time to spend with each other for romance plus managing the house will be a problem.This can lead to tension & conflict.
Also, there can be ego problems for the male especially if his wife is a more successful doctor that him & earns more than him.
Plus, if both are from different fields, there'll be much more & newer things to talk about rather than the same old medical stuff if you are both doctors.There's richness in diversity

I agree with you Powel, but things are a bit different in Indian society here.
Arranged marriages are more common here than love marriages, which is sad.
After all, love should be the only criteria for marriage !

i preffer non-medico but if i'll get my type of girl in our field then no prbs...but its difficult to get as girls in our field are boring..

yea, i have a few indians friends here and they were telling me about the whole arrange marriage deal, which I think is messed up. I also like to mess with my indian friends about the whole cast system. My friend is brahmin so I like to tell him he's better than everyone, pisses him off sometimes, i think its funny
