well, dear docs..I'll tell u wat..I have no option to be precise I've been under rated in the system of arranged marriages...unfortunately I was'nt lucky to have a partner of my choice..though would'nt have regretted if I was married to some gal of my choice...bottom line is I never had a chioce..coz a lady doc needs a postgraduate(arranged marriage funda#1) somebody whoz not in this pro needs money behind..iritating if I look into the fact, but its how the society is, don worry guys I am ok..any psychiatrist here 'd be tempted to prescribe a TCA immediately

As long as you and your partner have the same goals, it shouldn't matter.

I refer marrying a doctor. but if u can understand me thoroughly n really luv me, no matter what's ur job, maybe u will b my partner

I think girls would prefer marrying Doctors since men(not necessarily all) would find it difficult to relate to the pressures and grueling schedules if they're not medicos. Our society still has some way to go in that sense. Otherwise it doesn't matter.

For guys, it doesn't matter really provided they have no problems with accepting that their wives may sometimes be even busier than themselves.

i dated many med students (as a med student) and then a couple of doctors....and then married a physics teacher.... having a doctor as a partner kinda kills all the conversation (as all conversation inevitably returns to medical topics, or what happened in the hospital kind).... and we never really got to spend time together (maybe 4-5 times a month).... but as my wife works regular hours i am able to build my schedule around her and we get to spend a decent amount of time together....plus all my hospital stories really amaze/amuse her....and we have so many different things to talk about....
