Not to marry at all.. Lolz..
Yes, without hesitancy. If the doctor is hot and available, then why not?![]()
I agree that a doctor-doctor marriage would be a bit difficult to handle given the time constraints (and the fact that i have noticed that girls in med school are too career-oriented)...but then again it takes a doctor to understand a doctors life.
I guess a reasonable compromise would be to marry a girl with a professionally equivalent degree from a profession not as demanding as a doctor's (say dentist, engineer, architect,CA etc)
An advise for Indian medicos and medico wannabes...Fall in love befor going into med school (ideally XI) or hang around in the canteens of the other professional colleges in your vicinity ! ! ! !![]()
Well, it is important to marry someone that understands you first of all and above all someone that LOVES you.......whether be her a doctor or not......But remember to get someone of approximately the same wave of thinking.......otherwise it will be a violent clash.....All the best....
I think it does not exactly matter if you are in the same field or not as long as the relationship works. I have seen doctor-doctor marriages that work and those that don't.
Interesting that you guys brought up the not-marrying at all... That's actually my choice for personal reasons.
I think the profession isn't one of the main aspects of a working relationship, but having similar professions may help the couple understand each other - the time-consuming work, long hours, always studying, unpredictable life. A partner with a totally different background might have more trouble accepting that kind of life, i guess.
i think, from the view point of a female doctor its better if she marries a doctor, while guys have more abunadantly available options. ultimately in my opinion as to arranged marriage its more like a gambling affair. while if u r in love then u never fall in love taking into view whats the profession of the beloved is.
Most people are only alive because it is illegal to shoot them.
A non medical professional for sure. One has to see other points of view and perspectives too. One doc in the family is enoughSeriously though, with such a stressful life and schedule, having your life partner from another profession is more suitable. Doctors married to doctors hardly have any time for one another

i want to live normal life
no emergency in home
just enjoy life
if wife is medico then what is diff b/w home n hospital?
everything is not carrier
life is for living not for stress everytime
and
diff feilds of work will create a curiosity to know eachother
that wil maintain attraction b/w us
marriage is begining of a family. How many of us have enough time for their families?Though doctor couples may be good professional point as they can help each other it will be unfortunate for their children so it will depend to what you are giving priority family or proffession.
