that's terrible...guards are usually posted in the hospital for this. Did the beating take place outside?

Hey man.! It was near my residence.! I didint seen that But must be terrible.!
It happened in the afternoon but All people and the doctors association was there till late night.

Now the Doctor's association has protested against this. And they are about to Meet Chief Minister regarding this in next week.!

They want the same rule as In Madhya Pradesh.

- 3 years of jail,
- 50,000 fine,
- 3 times higher amount of what has been damaged in Hospital like Furniture and Medical equipments etc..

These are for violent Public who dont want to understand the doctor's situation and only interested in violation.!

Good enough to make their a** on fire.!

I understand any painful reaction of a patient's family (negation, unger, grieving) but the most dangerous for doctors is unger of a family's reaction and could be any verbal or fisical AGGRESSION, but these must be punished by law if required.

it is a must that country wide law regarding this issue should emerge, I guess all the assosiations we have must respond to issues like this & take the issue to higher stages where action can be taken precisely, above all, I wonder when the MCI is intended to be so strict in certifying why can it protect us, I do understand that the issue we are talking about is a bit fragile in nature, but then it can make a big difference if a law against this behaviour is applied..doc saves lives & who the **** saves him.
