      Default Epilepsy

I am 24 year old Male recently diagnosed with recurrent Seizures/Epilepsy on Keppra 500 mg twice a day

This is what my report says on coronal flair images. There is increased signal intensity in the bilateral hippocampi with increased signal intensity and volume loss which is relatively symmetric.

Findings are concerning for mesial temporal Screlosis. The remainder of ventricles and extravetricular CSF are spaces within normal limits in size. Diffusion-weighted images demonstrate no foci of restricted diffusion. No intracranial hemorrhage, midline shift, or herniation. No mass effect. Questionable Mild Cerebellar atrophy.
Paranasal sinuses and mastoid air cells are clear
Normal-appearing flow voids visualized in the intracranial vessels on the T2 weighted images.

Impression: Mild increased signal intensity in the bilateral hippocampi with mild atrophy, findings may represent mesial temporal sclerosis. No evidence of acute territorial infarction, intracranial hemorrhage, midline shift, or herniation. Mild atrophy of cerebellum.

What do you guys think about this , if there are doctors/neurosurgeons/neurologist please comment on this I would like some advice/comments as I don’t understand what the report says

If you can make me understand it will be nice

Epilepsy is a group of long-term neurological disorders characterized by epileptic seizures. These seizures are episodes that can vary from brief and nearly undetectable to long periods of vigorous shaking. In epilepsy, seizures tend to recur, and have no immediate underlying cause while seizures that occur due to a specific cause are not deemed to represent epilepsy.
