4-5 months ago, I was playing with my dog when he jumped up and head-butted me in the mouth. At first, it hurt really badly, he split my lip and caused some pretty bad pain in my front tooth, but within 10-15 minutes or so, that pain faded.

Then 4 weeks ago, while eating dinner, I bit into a piece of bread and felt a rather horrible crack in the same tooth, and after that agony struck. So the next day, I went to the dentist and found out I had a HUGE fracture in the root of the tooth...

Two days ago, I returned to the dentist, and had to have it removed; so I now have a denture...and not only is it way to small compared to my other teeth, and the wrong colour, it doesn't fit properly; I can't eat, I can't sleep, I can barely talk, and all I've done these last two days is cry; two years ago I suffered severe depression, and I honestly believe it’s coming back because of this

I'm only just 20, so this is a huge blow, and my mother’s constant "You're so ungrateful, you should be thankful they gave you a denture for free in the first place." is doing nothing but make me even more miserable...

I've looked up dental implants since I can't stand this thing any longer, but seeing how the NHS doesn’t cover them, and at £1500+ an implant, I can't afford it. Is there any way to get one cheaper? I've looked around Google, but all the ones saying; "Cheap!!! only £300 per implant" seem really dodgy to me...If I'm going to save a ton of money for this, I want it to be a good outcome, not more of a cock up then what I've already got X___X

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do? Or any places that are trustworthy, but affordable for someone who lives in a family that all together don't even make 10K a year? =(

(Please forgive how badly worded this is, I've only had about 4 hours sleep in the last two days...)
