    Angry Theory V/s Practice

I have always come across two school of thought s

1 who belive in theory and swear not to proceed with an action without proper theoroctical knowledge

And other who belive in practice and all they believe is theory is made by practicioners

what is done is what is written

And to support their theory they say

inventions and discovories are not made by reading book

books are made on invention and discoveries

    so true!!!!!!!

i have nothing against thoery , i think theory + practice = Education

However we all know how boring it gets to read 1000 pages

How many of us would actually read a manual before operation TV or Mobile when we have just bought it

Sometimes i just wonder cant it be the other way round first practice and then theory

U gotta have prior knowledge on any given subject. U gotta know what your doing. Then you find new things or new procedures by working off what u already know.
    I procrastinate....

    practice before therory ???
    how can it be pssible

if you dont know how aparticular thing feels or look then how will you proceed further its difficult to separate theory from practical bcoz both go hand in hand

and reading 1000 pages is really tiring job but if you do it regularly i am sure you will enjoy medicine

it's both, but not aided by the fact that some doctors are not helpful and imagine others to know what they know (which may be wrong).

practice come first, that is why thousands of research's papers are established every year they all look so reasonable but only few survive as most of them fail in practice!
i don't mean to eliminate theory, just wondering why to read radiology in theory? and so many other extra material that you won't need it!?

our eyes see what our mind knows
so when we know about theory we can practically apply and see it in our patients
