Pain can modulate release of serotonin, norepinefrin, opiods or dopamine and hypothalamic and lymbic system respond with several behaviors(elicit or supress) depending of the major imbalance of neurotransmitters or hormons.

About CHRONIC PAIN the patient is associated to depression, primary or secundary gain, psychosomatic disorder, conversion disorder, suicide, drugs abuse, insomnia, agressive or defensive attitud.
