Ok...
Nina is pregnant, she is 16 years.
2 weeks hadn't menstruation.
She did "it" with her boyfriend,her classmate,also 16 years.
Her parents didn't want Nina marry with her boyfriend coz she's too young.
his parents,too. Their parents think that marriage isn't the best way to clear this problem.
Nina thinks that it's ok to care about her baby,also her boyfriend.But, he don't want to get marry coz he is too young to make a family.
Nina's mother come to dr.Andi and wants abortion.
She thinks if the doctor refuses her, she'll had traditional / alternative ways to have abortion.

But,
Is it safe for Nina (16 years) borns a baby?? Isn't she too young??

Is the doctor needs "information for consent" and "request informed consent" to Nina's mother if the doctor had refused (not giving advice to her to have a traditional/alternative ways to do "abortion")??

Should the doctor do the abortion or not??

doctor should do...
because..
1). She is too young have baby... its complications will be harmful to both mother and baby (physical+psychological)
2). There will be no legal problems if doctor does abortion

how about the medical ethics??

No problems for a doctor to do abortion.. Actually it can be called Rape as per Indian Forensic Medicine.. So abortion can be approached without any ethical problem if a doctor is consulted..

I Think Doc Should Do Her Abortion Bcos 1. She Is High Risk Case If Continue Pregnancy 2.consent Of Parents Is Needed And They R Ready

1) If would definitely be OK for the doctor to perform the abortion.
2) Ethically, this is acceptable as the 16 yr. mother is considered an "emancipated minor" (at least in certain parts of the world) and therefore parental consent is not needed.
3) As far as complications, that would depend on the 16 yr. old mothers' health currently - even younger girls have delivered successfully without complications. I have delivered at least 3 (2 16 yrs and 1 15 yrs) during my residency without any complications to child or mother.
4) Also, the physician also has the right to refuse based on his/her own moral/ethical/religious beliefs and can/should refer to another physician to avoid the patient persuing traditional and possibly dangerous alternative methods of abortion.
