Thread: Weird fat hair in my beard

Hi, I don't really know who to ask about this, so here is my "problem": I have a full beard and over the last year or so something weird has happened, and becomes a lot more frequent now. At first, it seems as if I get a giant pimple, but it definitely is no pimple at all. I have found out that if I press it and shave it after about three days, I can provoke a huge kind of "hair" coming out of this "hill" on my skin. It will then be split at the top, but it looks as if it was one huge bit of hair before shaving. It can then be removed with some germ coming out. What I am unsure of is whether this really is just a "special" hair or something different, maybe something I need to be concerned about ...
The thing is that I am a CFS-patient and have become very observing of my own body, which annoys me a lot. But when these huge hairs come out, I sometimes look as if I got my wisdom tooth removed one more time. So it's not just me recognising it. Photos of two separate instances:

Okay, I will try to get an appointment. Any suggestions for what this might be?
