elearning is to be exploited further for medical studies. The scope is unbound. The interactive medical softwares, videos, animations and so on are the easiest way to make concepts clear and to get the full gist of the topic.
But elearning should not replace the conventional techniques of learning (white board-marker method). The lecturer-student interaction is a must especially for medical studies.
But the thing i hate the most is that some lecturers prepare powerpoint slides and just read them out in the lecture hall. They don't explain anything. Once the lights go off, everybody falls asleep.
It's difficult to say anything about the structure and i don't have data about the colleges using them.I don't think emodules are available for medical studies. I haven't seen this on the prospectus of any university so far. Quote: |
